This website is set up and maintained in collaboration with the UROlog website and both are linked together. The UROlog Foundation is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to provide information on urologic subjects to both professionals and non-professionals. It has been doing so since 1995. The information contained within both websites is frequently updated, according to urologic developments. The aim of the Foundation is to provide objective proven data on urologic subjects. Although the linked UROlog site is sponsored by a number of companies, all sponsors have agreed to the unconditional character of sponsorship. Unless specifically stated, the information contained within the UROlog website is objective and the sole responsibility of the UROlog Foundation.

THE UROLOGY PANEL
The Urology Panel consists of five certified urologists. All have many years of experience in the field of general urology. If need be, they can consult each other, or may even seek advice from specialists in certain areas of urology. They often work together in urologic surgery.

	Joop W. Noordzij has been certified since 1992 and been in practice ever since. After a short period in Pakistan and India and a career in the military, he has gained experience in several hospitals in the Netherlands before settling down in a hospital in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam. He has published many scientific papers on a variety of urologic subjects and is currently involved in several committees of the Dutch Urological Association. Apart from practising urology in the broadest sense, he has a special interest in prostate problems, including BPH, prostate cancer and prostatitis, as well as female incontinence.
